I am Kari Ferguson (the one with the white hair, though it isn’t always that color).

I’m a writer (books, blogs, and shopping lists mostly), reader of other people’s books (favorite authors include J.D. Salinger, Maria Semple, Chaim Potok, and Jojo Moyes), and thinker about how I probably should be writing or reading something.

I am a thrift store-vintage-and Target loving- shopper. I am always on the search for the best almond croissant and spicy chicken sandwich.

My husband and I started Mental Illness Matters, an events company that strives to brings awareness of and help for mental illnesses. Our first conference is Anxiety Disorders and Mormonism.

My husband and I have two kids who wear us out pretty much every day, two bunnies, and live in Washington.
